Spring Season Sign Up Times: Town Hall Meeting “Save
our Youth Baseball and Softball Programs” Ladera Little League Baseball, Inc. would like to
invite you to our Registration and Town Hall Meeting. Come register your child in our program
and voice your concerens regarding the Los Angeles County Board of
Supervisors new policy to charge for the use of odnated fields in Ladera
Heights. Members and former
members please wear your team or Ladera uniforms. Members may register for tryouts
during this meeting. When: January 8, 2010, 6pm Where: Consolidated Board of Realists 3725

Registration and Townhall Meeting 2010 FALL BALL REGISTRATION
SEPTEMBER 12 Fall
Ball Registration will begin on September 12, 2009. The first practice will be on
September 13th. See

14- Breaking News- Ladera 10- 11
year olds advance to the championship series by beating Malibu 6-4. Got to be
there Wednesday July 15th 6:30pm. Monday July 13th
10-11 Game 4 Recap Every Ladera runner
reached base and all but one scored. The offensive attack for Ladera
was punctuated by a 3 run line drive home run by Lawrence Gilliam
in the top of the first, and a lead off towering shot to left field by
birthday boy, Jibri Walden.
The home runs were career firsts for Lawrence and Jibri. Girls
Softball The
Girls Softball team tried its best as a young team but fell to a more
experienced Culver City and the West LA teams. But our girls are good! They’ll
be back. Junior After
beating North Venice 21-14, our TOC Champions lost to Beverly Hills 12-2 and
then to Santa Monica 21-11. 11-12
year old baseball Our 12 year
olds started out by beating Beverly Hills 5-3 and then Wrigley 6-0.
Unfortunately this gritty Ladera team fell to City of Angels 6-5 and then
Culver City 11-1. Good run guys. 10-11
year old baseball Ladera’s
11 year olds are still in the hunt. They beat SM National 12-7. Unfortunately
they fell to Malibu in a close 3-2 game. Hold on! They came back to handily
beat Culver City National 16-2. Their next game is a rematch against Malibu
on Monday. July 13th. Come and make some noise! 9-10
year old baseball This
Ladera team was taking no prisoners. They beat Culver City 15-2 and turned
around to beat Culver Marina 10-0. West LA proved to be as strong as
anticipated and Ladera fell in a close 4-3 game. It’s not over folks
and Ladera has an opportunity to come back Tuesday 7/14 6:00pm against SM

Junior Gold Captures District Championship Ladera's
Junior Gold program defeated a determined West Los Angeles team by a score of 19-14
in the District Championship on Saturday June 7, 2009. Congratulations
to Manager Harry McElroy, Coaches Ric Berry and Norman Burt and all the
players. Tournament
of Champions District
25's Tournament of Champions starts this Wednesday June 10,
2009. Please come out and support the Angels, Tigers and Braves as
they battle for more championship banners. Check the web site
for game schedules and field locations. LLL
Angels in a best of 5 against the LLL Diamonds, for TOC play, will represent
LLL Minor Softball with a 3W 1L over the Diamonds. Ladera
Little League 2009 Board of Directors Election The 2008-2009 Ladera Little League regular season is quickly coming to a close; we hope it has been a memorable season for your player! Would you like the opportunity to make a direct impact on Ladera Little League? Interested in making decisions that regulate our league? Most importantly, would you want to help make this experience the best it can be for our kids? If so, please consider nominating yourself for a Board position! The 2009 election voting will begin on June 22nd, 2009 and conclude at the
first Annual Ladera Little League Sports Banquest, Saturday, June 27th,
2009 at the LAX Marriot.
Ballots and voting boxes will be at the Little League field ( next to
the snack bar) from 5:30pm to 7:00pm
June 22st,- June 26th. Ballots and voting boxes will also be
available during the Sports Banquet….make your voices heard, PLEASE
VOTE!!! You may place your name on the ballot if you are interested in one of the 9 open 2009 season board positions. Some of the key positions are listed below. Please submit your nomination form at the Ladera Little League Snack bar before 5:00 pm on June 8th ( or to any current Ladera Little League Board member). Nomination forms are available at the snack bar or at 2009 Nomination Form. This is a self nomination process if you know someone that you think would make a good board member convince that person to submit and sign a nomination form. First Annual Ladera Little League Banquet! Save the date Saturday, June 27th for the First Annual Ladera
Little League Sports Awards Banquet. It’s been a great year and we want
to go out in style. Let’s
celebrate the great effort put in by all the children. All of the details are
in the following flyer Banquet Invitation. Let the team mom
know if your ball player will be attending. Players attend for free. Snack Bar We
have reached the end of the regular season. Many of you still have not completed
your snack bar volunteer hours. Please check with your Team Mom regarding
dates and times available for you to work. If the time slots assigned to your
team are not convenient for you, please contact Annette Harrigan or Cherie
Robinson so we can find a time for you to fulfill your hours. Since Ladera
Little League is hosting some of District 25 Allstar games, snack bar slots
will be available during those games also. Opening Day! Opening day was loads

Thomas joined over 400 Ladera Little League members in kicking off another
exciting season of Ladera Little League Baseball. Our members enjoyed loads
of baseball while chowing down on a fantastic pancake breakfast. Check out the Scores for the
